Less than four months after my Russian bride and I filed our application, the Canadian government called to inform us that Yuliya and her daughter Anastasiya could move to Canada. The following month, I (Alain) flew to Grodno, Belarus, spent a week with Yuliya’s family and we all came back to Canada together as a new family!
