Russian brides and their culture: Food

If you love delicious food, you’re in luck! Russian brides are some of the best cooks in the world!

Russian people have a rich culinary history. Often our meals consist of several different courses, including soup, meat dishes, savory pies or pancakes, and vegetables.

Russian brides are familiar with cooking both hot soups, such as borsh or shchi, or cold soups, such as okroshka. Sometimes a Russian woman will serve you both at one meal! But you will be happy to eat them, we’re sure, because Russian soups are delicious.

Baked meat and fish dishes are also popular. Russian brides tend to flavour meat and with with delicious herbs and spices, such as parsley, garlic, and herbs. Fried meatballs and shashlyk, a form of “shish kebab,” are also popular. Just the smell of them cooking will make your mouth water!

But perhaps what you will love the most is when you taste a Russian bride’s pirozhki! They are small stuffed buns that are filled with meat or fish and vegetables and either baked or pan-fried. They are truly delicious.

So are blini, which are thin pancakes similar to French crepes. They are often topped with butter, sour cream, or caviar. So good!

So if you are a lover of food then we recommend you find a Russian bride to love. Russian brides are taught from a young age to cook all these wonderful foods. We are sure you will love them.

If you haven’t found your “soul mate” yet, please check out our site and talk to one of our Russian brides today!
